Our History
TMI Simulation Solutions was founded in 2004, by Mr Thivash Moodley, an aeronautical engineer with experience in the global aerospace and defence industry. TMI Simulation Solutions started operations in the business incubator at the Innovation Hub in Pretoria and has come a long way since then. From the outset the company's values were based on building long lasting relationships with our employees, clients and associates.
Through strategic initiatives by the South African government to promote local SMMEs, TMI Simulation Solutions was afforded several opportunities, allowing us to participate in defence acquisition programmes and access grant and loan funding to develop products and services for the aerospace, defence and logistics industries. TMI was able to build relationships with global companies like Saab AB, Bae Systems, and Denel and international universities like TU Delft (Netherlands), KTH (Sweden), RMIT (Australia). This provided excellent opportunities to collaborate on research and technology projects.
